Is this normal? She's had three long feeds.

Was she pooing fine yesterday? My DCs only weed at night - see how she goes in the morning.

Yes, fine yesterday. Will wait and see then. So hard, as have no idea what is normal or not!

Is she breastfed? There’s very little waste from breastfeeding compared to formula, and it’s perfectly normal for a baby not to poo for a day or so.

The frequency that breastfed babies poo really varies - with a wide range being normal. Wet nappies are the main thing. Next time you see your midwife or health visitor they’ll be able to reassure you.

They like to store it up for a couple of days and then do a poonami which goes all up their backs Smile

If babies under the age of 6 weeks, including breast feed babies should poo at least every 24 hours. Has your baby had a poo within the last 24 hours?
