How do I wean almost 10 month old

My DS is almost 10 months old and he nibbles on food but never finishes what's on his plate and seems to mostly be getting full from breastmilk. I so badly want to stop breastfeeding but it's just so difficult because he doesn't like formula, he just rejects it as soon as he tastes it and he doesn't eat most of his food. He also wakes up every hour in the night for a feed and I want to get in the routine of his dad taking care of him more so I can have more time for me. Any advice on how I can go about stopping the breastfeeding completely and also getting him to sleep through the night? Also, he doesn't nap in the day unless he's being breastfed to sleep.

Are you bfing him before his meals? It's probably time to implement a bit of a schedule and be strict with milk feeds so he's eating more solids.
Something like:
Wake-up (BF)
Breakfast (only BF after food and only if he asks for it)
Feed & Nap (BF to sleep is fine)
Lunch (again only BF after food if needed)
Feed & Nap (BF to sleep)
Dinner (BF after if needed)
Big pre bed feed & bed

Then for night feeds try to schedule one at 10ish and one at 2ish so he's going about 4hours between feeds at night. Ask your partner for help to settle him if he wakes up between these times so he's not being tempted by the smell of milk!

As for trying to give up breastfeeding have you tried different formula? The only formula mine will take is kendamil which tastes very nice. Try feeding from a cup if he won't take a bottle!

Following as I'm also trying to transition my 10 month baby to formula. She swallows about 10% but then spits the rest. We've tried straw cup and munchkin cup so far!

Agree with giving food before BF
