Has anyone used peanut? I've joined and matched with a few people but it feels weird chatting to random women 😂 has anyone found a genuine friend on there?

I know a few people who have met friends with babies of a similar age. Worth giving it a go if you are looking for new friends

I met one person on it who is now my best friend :)

Yes, I've met a few people on there - one of which I met regularly for a walk/coffee with our little ones. It's been great.

I've really struggled. I've matched with a few people but the conversation doesn't seem easy.

I'm on peanut but haven't dared to connect with anyone yet, seems so random somehow!

Also many of the mums there have young babies and mine are older already

I've been using peanut since I first found out I was pregnant, I unfortunately had a miscarriage and that shattered my world.
I found a great support and network of women on peanut who have been through the same thing and I've connected with people who are going through the same thing.
This is been a serious help for me and so happy to have a place like peanut to share those things

Yes I've used it. I find that I try and connect with people with either my own age (40) as not saying I can't he friends with a 20 yr old but I find the conversations harder so with someone my age I may be more likely to have things in common with someone in their 40's or I think sometimes younger girls may not want someone to talk to that's 'old' but that's just maybe my insecurity

Also I look at childrens ages so as close to Mine as possible

I've met 2 nice ladies on there - which I see weekly on different days

I found it hard at first but everyone is on there for the same reason and once you get started it's good. You just have to click with someone and I was lucky and clicked with both of the women I met up with. Like minded and just generally nice.

The hardest thing I found was that I was the one who had to initiate the meet up but as I say now I've done it we've swapped numbers and meet weekly

I found it brilliant. Started a WhatsApp group with a bunch of women who were pregnant the same time as me in my city, as time went on some of them added other parent or pregnant friends and the group has grown to over 40 people and there's always someone up for a coffee or a walk whenever I want to get out of the house.
