How much did your 1 year old grow?

My daughter is in the 30th percentile and is still comfortably in 9-12 month clothes at 14 months. I'm trying to figure out what size to buy her summer clothes but I don't know how much she'll grow and if she'll fit into 12-18 or 18-24 months by the summer. She'll be 18 months in May, I can't see her outgrowing the 12-18 month stuff we have as she's still too small to fit into them, but I don't know what size to expect her to be by August. How much did your little ones here between 1 and 2?

Well my DD went into 12-18 months at around 14/15 months and is only just starting to outgrow them at almost 21 months. Not sure if that helps - my DD is tiny.

My baby was quite slender though grew upwards. He was often in clothes that were supposed to be the right size for a younger baby.

Just get things that easily size up and down

Short sleeve dress, can be a tunic.
Full length leggings can be 3/4 length.
Shortie or bolero cardigans.
Shorts, floaty skirts.

My middle DC went through a phase at age 5 of refusing to wear anything but her favourite outfit which consisted of a pair of 12-18 months trousers worn as shorts and her sibling’s age 9-10 short sleeve T-shirt, both fitted and looked fine.

My 2-year-old is still wearing a lot of the clothes she wore this time last year! She's on the 20th centile.

I don't think anyone can answer really. My son has just turned 3 and he is in some 3 - 4 tops and pj's but still has some 1.5 - 2 trousers that fit him!

Our 5 month old is in 9-12 month clothes.
Our eldest was average and stayed in clothes much longer but the younger ones were all big at birth and stayed ahead with clothes.
Great thing with girls is you can buy lots of dresses and use them all year round. Add in tights and cardigans for cooler months and if they outgrow the length but not width you can add in some leggings and use them as tops.
