I started a thread earlier about having no support with BF with my 4 month old and was pushed put of hospital very quickly etc. I was just wondering if anybody had a similar experience and gone on to breastfeed subsequent children (although I am in NO rush for another baby haha)

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I had a terrible time with my first- no support and he was in intensive care for a week or so. Went on to successfully bf 4 more with no problems. Totally possible!

Not the same but I struggled massively with feeding DC (I had complications from EMCS, spesis, DD had TT, undiagnosed CMPA) and we stopped bf after 6 weeks of combi feeding. I really struggled with decision and ended up seeing maternal metal health services. DD2 was combi feed until 6 weeks and then ebf, 2.5 yrs later and I’m still bf her.

@Fallagain do you feel better about it now?

Yes, only by trying again and remembering how ridiculous hard it is I was able to finally make peace with stopping bf so early the first time round.
