why is becoming a parent like becoming a child again? the way people start telling you what to do?

The difference is, when you are a grown up you can ignore them and do what you were going to do anyway

I think certain people just get a kick out of telling other people what to do. We have just become first time dog owners and are experiencing the same issues, can't walk down the street without someone stopping you and telling you how to do things (some of them after giving out the advice have been known to add after it "of course I've never had a dog before but I've seen lots of TV programmes about dogs" ).

I find certain mums people like to tell you what they woulnd't do as if you must be in the wrong
