We are having a birthday party for my little girl who will be three next week and I wondered if anybody has any tips or ideas for party games, food etc as she has been very excited about having a birthday party for at least 6 months!

we are having an under the sea theme with balloons nemo and ariel theme.

Keep it simple.

Games

lots of balloons to kick around
Pass the parcel
Musical bumps
cake decorating

Food

melon/grapes

crisps
popcorn
fairy cakes

Just been to one where they did a craft table. It was brilliant and kept the kids occupied for ages. if there's lots coming you could alternate it with other activities like face painting or some such. Does need supervising and planning, at the one we went to they made christmas tree fairies and crowns. Went down really really well.
Happy bday to you lo

Have a white paper table cloth and put some crayons in a cup. The ones who would like to get up and run around instead of eating can draw a picture instead! (Once one of them gets up they all will)

Don't bother cooking/preparing anything because the little feckers won't give a monkeys that you spent the previous 24 hours making star shaped sandwiches and tomato flowers - they will just work their way through about 100 bags of crisps
