First time mum here and wondering if anyone can help please. Sounds like my 3 month old has a snotty/congested nose but I can’t see any snot? I have used freeda snot sucker but nothing is coming out?

Has anyone had this? Is this normal? And what can I do to help him?

It’s normal until they can blow their nose.

It's probably just that their nose is still tiny - newborn congestion is common. If they have long pauses in breathing or struggle to eat you might want to call your GP. If they ever go blue obviously get immediate help. I'd suggest maybe calling your health visitor though if you're still a bit concerned but dummy think there's a medical issue - you can tell them exactly what is happening and get some advice and/or reassurance.

Maybe try a saline nasal spray
