Hosting 5 year olds birthday party

My dd started in Reception in September and it's her birthday in March. As we haven't been able to have a party for her for her last two birthdays we really wanted to make this one a bit more special. The concern we have is that she hasn't been invited to any birthdays since starting reception. Of course this could be very much due to covid restrictions and parents have been opting to give out sweets instead. We don't really know any of the parents in her class at all and feel this may be a good chance to get to know some of them and see who she is friends with. We were thinking about hiring a hall and inviting all of her class (30 children). It is a two form entry though and I know that they sometimes play with the other group as well but we really can't invite 60 children. It's such a minefield and one that we have so far not had to deal with. What are people's thoughts?

Prepare for some parents to not want to/not be able to accept the invite due to covid, but invite just the one class of 30

Yes that's what I thought and that's absolutely fine. Just really torn about whether to go for it or not.
