Going away

Hi everyone! My father in law has just booked 2 nights away for me and my partner and himself in March, for our birthdays. The only problem is, my little girl will be just over 4 months old😔is it too soon to leave her? She will be with my mother in law and I trust her, but I can not help the nerves in my stomach and the mum guilt!

Too young for me but it’s a very individual decision.

Only you can judge. I wouldn't personally but in reality they'll probably be fine. Your MIL is a saint if she's happy having a 4 month old overnight for 2 nights!

Did he ask before he booked it?

Some will probably say go but I know I couldn't have done it.

It's a very individual thing. If you don't feel ready to leave her then don't let yourself be pressured into it.

As others have said it’s very much a personal choice. But I definitely would have struggled to leave my boy for 2 nights at just 4 months.

Way too young.

Isn't it odd that he's leaving his wife behind?

YukoandHiro · 28/01/2022 21:09

Just bring her? She'll be so small.

Maybe they're divorced @Mo1911 ?
