Fuck me, teething toddlers are hard work

Clearly I’ve forgotten the not very distant past of DS and his teething but DD14mo is sprouting 3 teeth at once and it is just hellish. The poor hen is clearly in pain, have got that sorted with some Brufen and an ice pop.

Is it too early in the day to start drinking when I’m the only parent on duty and I have to go to work tonight 😩

I’m lying down, trying to work from my laptop because DD 15 months was up solidly from 3.45-5.30 teething, and DD1-4yrs old was up at 6.45.
You have my sympathies!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember a wisdom tooth coming through as an adult. It was absolute agony so it's little wonder that teething toddlers are so awful. However knowing that and having all the sympathy in the world doesn't make it any easier to deal with them! Have a baileys hot chocolate and a nap

Ah ladies bless you both. I’d take the pain myself if I could cos then at least it’d be easier on us both! Have managed to get her down for a nap so have inhaled coffee and toast!

Mine is fighting her nap- she seems delirious with energy!!!

Wet a flannel and put it in the fridge to cool down. She might find it nice and soothing to chew on.
