I feel awful now. Wasn't a hard slap.

She kicked me quite hard.

Would I be in trouble for slapping my child on the foot?

In trouble with who?
It wasn't a smart reaction but it doesn't sound like you meant to

NuffSaidSam · 27/01/2022 21:23

Was it a reflex slap? If so, it's fine imo.

I don't think you're going to get in any trouble for slapping away the foot of someone who's kicking you.

I would have too.

Your daughter should be trouble for kicking you really hard.

You kick people, you cannot be surprised if they reflex slap your foot away.

HellonHeels · 27/01/2022 21:30

Actions have consequences. I wouldnt worry too much. What have you said to her about the kicking?

Good. Kicking people is bad.

I told her it's unacceptable to hit/kick people

It's a natural consequence.
Now your daughter has learned about reflex's.

gamerchick · 27/01/2022 21:42

It's natural reaction but then she would have been punished for kicking.
