Calming techniques for Pre-Schooler

My almost 3 year old DD, seems to have almost limitless energy!

I try to do plenty with her and regularly take her for trips to soft play, the park, walks etc. But she is often really hyper and excited!

A lot of the time it doesn't matter but other times she becomes 'Mrs Dangerous' as we call her! And it is just an accident waiting to happen as she throws herself around and into things.

I really need some calming techniques up my sleeve for when she just needs to chill out a bit. I've tried doing some simple breathing exercises with her but she isn't interested! If I ask her for a cuddle she will cuddle for a few seconds then start bouncing around hyper again!

How much exercise is she getting every day?

How much mental stimulation eg problem solving Type things, where she has to really work something out?

IME if you can get the balance of those two right it's easier. Currently struggling with both for my 3yo in quarantine!
