Cafe disinfectant sprays

I like to take my DS with me to a cafe / restaurant with friends or DH around once a week, but have noticed that pretty much wherever I go the (usually young) staff don't seem to give any thought to spraying disinfectant spray on either our table or the next one when I (asthmatic) and my 6mo DS are sat there. I understand they have a busy job and I'm sure as the stuff they use is food and highchair safe it can't be that bad, but does anyone who has worked in catering know what the stuff is and do you usually say something if staff spray the stuff right near you/ your kids?

You'd have to ask them what they use. If you have a problem with it just pipe up and say something to them. I'd think it is quite low risk if they are spraying close to the table surface.

It depends what they're using.

Catering stuff is developed to be safe and it's quite normal to spray after every customer.
