I had my second baby in May and had the contraceptive jag the day after and then three months after that i went on the mini pill for a month, forgot to take it about a week and then back on and then came off it again. I was bleeding throughout since having my baby and finally stopped at the start of jan! I had my first period and now 8 after my first period stopped i have my period again!

ive had a smear test and bloods taken and all is normal, is this just a case of having too many hormones and my body is regulating again? It's been so long since ive had a normal period ive forgotten everything that's normal.

has anyone else taken a while to regulate?

thanks in advance for your replies x

Id say its absolutely normal for them to be all over the place. Although no one will be able to guess when they'll settle!
Hormones are v powerful so pregnancy ones followed by pills etc your body's probably like waaaaat

I was on the combined pill 12 years. Changed to mini pill and had a constant period. I was I was told jab and implant and mini pill all much the same blend of Hormones. So chances are if i chose any of these things I'd have q constant period... dunno if true mind!

It's hard work contraception

Haha exactly. I was like well what's the point in taking contraception for safe sex if we ain't ever gonna have non bloody sex.

Being a woman sucks at the best of times!
