Bugaboo fox fitting into boot

I think I made a mistake in buying it. We have a good sized car with a big boot (kia sportage) but we can't seem to find a way to put both the chassis and the bassinet in the boot without it blocking up the back window and we can't put it long wise as it won't fit. Are we missing something? At the moment we just chuck the bassinet in thr back seat.

My friend came round with her uppababy today and it's like half the legnth.

It's OK for now but not sure what we are gonna do if we go away and need a suitcase etc or if we have a second baby we are gonna need a whole new buggy.

Any tips how how to get it to fit better. What are we doing wrong

There's a way of collapsing the chassis so it almost sits flat- you need to fold as normal. Then turn the circles on the inside axle as if you're going to put it up again, then that allows you to compressed it down further. However it's not "locked" in the closed positive like this so you do need to me more careful lifting it.

You can also collapse the bassinet pretty flat, which is handy.

is a pretty comprehensive video on folding it, worth a watch.

Once they get into the seat it is less bulky to transport.

Omg thank you so much. Managed to get it a lot flatter. That was really helpful
