I am not a Royalist but surely a stoic matriarch that has tried to be strong amid very public and embarrassing family issues her entire life deserves some support from fellow lionesses?

What? Who are her fellow lionesses?

I’m sure she’s having a bit of a rough time at the moment but she’s pretty far down the list of people I think are in desperate need of support.

Mudday · 24/01/2022 02:18

The fellow lionesses are us. She's not got long left and I don't want her to die thinking that she failed.

Oh do me a favour.

The Queen has led a long, charmed life with opportunities, advantages and experiences the vast majority of the World's population can only dream of.

I can think of many people in need of support and she's not one of them.

Why she had a hand in letting her perverted arsehole son get this far. When this came out first time round she rewarded him with an honour. She has only taken some 'action' against him because of the military publicly calling out their disgust at being associated with the arsehole. She's still paying for his life style and protection and legal costs.
Honestly if this woman was an ordinary member of the public doing this for her credibly accused son she would rightly be treated with disgust!

If you think this despicable women didn't know/wasn't informed by MI5/6 of Mountbatten, Saville, Maxwell, Epstein's pedo rings habit than you are incredibly foolish.

bubbleblower85 · 24/01/2022 02:26

She has failed on so many levels. Her daughter in laws Diana and Sarah complained about the way they were treated by the "men in gray", by Charles (Diana) she never helped them. When Diana died the first thing she asked was if Diana had any crown jewels on her!!!!

She has only ever lobbied the government to change/bend laws to benefit her and her scum offsprings but never to the benefits of the UK public!

She's all round awful and for the life of me I can't understand her deification by some people.

bonfireheart · 24/01/2022 02:38

I love you @bubbleblower85! She's the ultimate mumsnet MIL. Horrid. With someone would write an honest article on her, instead she's seen like a messiah.

Thank you 😊. I agree, the Windsors need exposing and removed literally and figuratively from the pedestal they're put on.

Regardless of the rights and wrongs of the Queen I don’t think she reads MN ...

JaneJeffer · 24/01/2022 02:57

I know you can't be her mother @Mudday so why did you post this in Parenting?

PossiblyDreaming · 24/01/2022 02:59

I’m not a lioness, don’t be so bloody daft.

How would you like us to show our appreciation for her? She already gets millions out of us in tax, I’m sure that will comfort her.

KloppsTeeth · 24/01/2022 03:09

Follow her on Twitter, you’ll see she is fine Wink

Gingerkittykat · 24/01/2022 03:56

How are us lionesses supposed to support her?

Pop round with some shopping? Send her a bunch of flowers? Fawn over her?

bonfireheart · 24/01/2022 07:45

She comes on TV on once a year to read a speech written by someone else and everyone one is like bless look how much she cares, and then she leaves in her £60k car and we're all supposed to think she's in it together with us.

Mudday · 24/01/2022 21:23

Well you bunch of scamps, I've been royally put in my place. Thank goodness for corgis.

I have personal experience of The Queen and she is a strange, cold woman and really let down one of her children and no one has ever reported it.

Basically, one of her children (was then adult) wanted her to support them when they took part in an event that meant the world to them. She snubbed them.

I’m pretty sure she doesn’t hang around here. For a start her children are well over the age of 18 so even if she was on MN I can’t imagine she would be on this board.

As it is she is standing by a man who very probably had sex with a trafficked teenager.

Which child and what was the activity?

I like the Queen very much and add my vote to giving her support.

The sooner this Andrew business is settled, the better. Apparently the earliest the trial happens will be September.
