Activities on the weekend

What activities do you do at home on the weekend? Due to several reasons I’m unable to take my daughter out on the weekends so we spend them at home, it can feel very long and boring so just wondering what activities people do with their kids to keep busy at home?

What age is your DD? I have a 3yr old and a 1 yr old, we do a mix of creative stuff like colouring/ painting, kinetic sand, playdoh, maybe some interactive tv like cosmic yoga on youtube or andys wild workouts on cbeebies, some puzzles and games, my 3 year old responds well to making things into events like having a pizza party (eating pizza in pjs on sofa), a “princess bath” (having a bath bomb and some spa music etc). Sometimes we have a lot of tv while I attempt to relax But I am guessing it depends on the age of the child?

Thanks for the suggestions some great ones to try she will love the princess bath! she is 10 but my youngest is 4 so they could work for both ages

My 9yo is massively into Ticket To Ride (a board game). It takes about an hour and we’ve played it every Saturday and Sunday since Christmas!
We also cook something for lunchboxes e.g. savoury flapjacks, mini frittatas, savoury muffins, sausage rolls, pizza pinwheels etc…
As a family, we enjoy watching Spy in The Wild and Anne With An E.

Lego/Duplo
Lots of crafts (stickers, colouring, chalks, painting, etc)
Jigsaws and games
Doing things in the garden when the weather is nice, eg. picnics, hide and seek, races
Dance party or yoga
Baking
Help you clean the house
Buy a magazine from the shop and do the activities
Facetime people
