Music for toddler birthday party

But if a random one, planning a birthday party for my DC who will be turning 1&2. At this age it'll really just be a big play date for the other family kids (they're all similar ages) and adult family. I'd like to have some music on that they can play and dance too but other than baby shark 🤦‍♀️ I don't know what kind to play 😂 any suggestions are very much welcome!

My DS loved Cocomelon, Little Baby bum songs at the age.

We played a Craig Charles funk and soul playlist because 2 year old was not even bothered there was music... she was just pleased she could eat all of the food and cake 😂

Thank you! I didn't think of coco melon! We don't watch it in our house but I know my niece and nephew love it! I'll investigate! 😁

Do you have alexa? My DC asks her for Justin fletcher (mr tumble) he has various songs!

Go to Amazon music, Alexa, Spotify, You Tube etc and search “Toddler Birthday Party Mix”. Or play The Smiths, or whatever takes your fancy.

Oh no nursery rhymes are still a thing! Maybe some of them are more popular than others - not heard Lucy Locket or Lavender Blue in aaages must admit

My youngest loves all the versions of the nursery rhymes by Cocomelon and LittleBabyBum.

I also recommend getting a happy birthday backing track so when it's time for the cake and sparklers to come out everyone can join in

Surely the wheel on the bus? Absolute banger. Also, sleeping bunnies. Toddlers love that song.

Mine loved the Putemayo kids albums at that age- world party or animal songs were good for parties.
