My 22 month old has always slept through since about 8 weeks. For the last 7 weeks she's been sitting up in her cot crying and saying mama. All I have to do is go in and lay her back down and she goes back to sleep. But she's doing it like 5/6 times a night. I've tried changing her to a duvet from a sleeping bag and she's now back to a sleeping bag. Tried anbesol thinking it was he last back molars coming but no sign of them so far. Help!!

My sympathies, 7 weeks is a long time to have yours and babies sleep disrupted.
Not really sure what the best advice is but some suggestions are:

  • Sleep in her room with her for a while in a bed or mattress.
  • A comforter or soft toy if not already using
  • Slightly later bedtime or shorter naps so she's more tired.
  • if all else fails, remember that tonight could be the night she stops waking. It could have been a sleep regression but you might never know why.

@Dee37 Did you ever figure this out? My 21 month old is doing the same and I am praying for an improvement in sleep!
