World facing Vs parent facing

I am desperate to replace my M&P Occarro, love the look and it's super comfy, cosy and hardy but it's sooooo heavy and it's on its second child now and you can really tell.

All the small fold light pushchairs are world facing, so wondering what age would you swap to one? My babe is only 5 months next week so still wee!

Ideally not before a year. DD2 wouldn’t go in a pram until she was 7/8 months and was only happy forward facing because she wanted to see her older sister.

Think mine went forward facing in the pram at 9 months or so. He was a nosy baby and happier that way.

Mine were world facing from birth (3 wheeler). Far more interesting than watching my tired face trying to remember the shopping list. They had 23 other hours a day to look at me.
