What age did you move from cot to bed?

What age did you move your LO from a cot to a bed?

When DD consistently climbed out if it. I felt it safer to be in bed with a side than potentially falling. She was quite late doing it though, she loved her cot!

Two years two months because we needed the cot for the next baby!

We turned the cot into a toddler bed at 3 and changed to a single bed at 4. She wasn't able to climb out of it so there was no hurry. But she was out of nappies at night at 3 so we wanted her to be able to go to the bathroom without calling for us to get her out of the cot. She fell out of bed a few times the first week but was fine after that. She never got out of it till we woke her in the morning.

My second baby is much more mobile so I'm thinking we might not get 3 years out of the cot this time!
