I need to rant....

Im sick of my husband getting annoyed because our nearly 9 month old baby wakes up throughout the night. He's a baby. Why doesn't he just accept some babies don't sleep through the night

Currently up with my 8.5 month old. She still wakes a lot! I think it's normal and very common. He's being very unreasonable.

Although my older DD did start sleeping through consistently at 18 months, I know of toddlers and even older that still wake - so he could be in for a shock.

It really annoyed me so wanted to rant. Babies aren't robots if our baby is hungry then they wake up.

He is very ill informed. Durham university have done lots of research into infant sleep which says other wise. They have a website for parents show it to him.

Well, to be fair, I used to be annoyed when any of ours woke up in the night, as I like my sleep and am very cranky without it.
I mean, I know babies, toddlers, and small children do wake up in the night, but that doesn't make it any less annoying to be disturbed from my slumbers at 3am.

Honestly, excluding temporary illness or teething I’d be annoyed if my baby was 9 months old and they were still waking multiple times a night. Doesn’t mean I’d hold the baby responsible or think that there was something wrong but yes I’d be annoyed because prolonged lack of sleep is annoying.

This. It is annoying to be woken up 🤷‍♀️ is he just annoyed or saying it's unusual?
It's not uncommon
