Teething already?

DC is 3 months. Over the last week he has been sucking fingers more, generally a bit more ragey, not very hungry, and competing for gold in the Drool Olympics. There are no red gums or anything. He's EBF.
Could it be teething, or is it normal for them to go off milk for a bit for no reason? His temperature is fine.

TIA!

I would say it could be teething. My little boys 2 lower teeth came through at 3 months and he now has 4 upper teeth at 6 months too. To be honest I wouldn’t have realised he had the first two if it wasn’t for the fact he bit me and it hurt 😂.

My 12 week old is the same. I'm not sure if it's teething or just developmental. He has had nights where he seems upset for no reason but other days he's fine.

Could definitely be teething. Ds started at 3 months although no teeth actually appeared until he was almost 9mnths.

DDs first tooth at 11 weeks.. Can't say I noticed teething symptoms as she was a generally unhappy whinging baby... 8 teeth by 6 months....

DD got her first two teeth, on the same day, just before 4 months, on that basis then teething at 3-mo sounds perfectly reasonable.

Yikes so it seems it could be. I thought we had another couple of months at least! Thanks everyone 😊

Our youngest has been showing signs of teething since 2 months, still no teeth at 5 months though. Our son got his 1st tooth at 15 weeks old so they can start very early.

DS1 got first tooth at exactly 4 months so yes I’d say it’s teething. DS2 - not till 8 months.

Could be!
My son started sucking his fingers and droooling so much from 3 months and his first tooth started cutting through at 4 months and came through just before 5 months! He is now 5 months and looks like the second bottom tooth is coming through now! Poor thing keeps punching his mouth 😫
