Hi everyone, my little girl is one next week, she’s currently taking 18oz of formula but when she’s one I want to give her 14oz of cows milk. Is 14oz enough milk?
I thinking of replacing the 4oz of milk in the afternoon for water ?
What are your thoughts

The NHS advise 12oz of milk a day OR 2 servings of dairy (cheese yoghurt etc). So I’m sure 14oz is fine Smile. My 14 month old only has 6oz of milk before bed, just can’t get any
More into her so I just make sure she has plenty of other sources of dairy throughout the day.

She needs 350mg of calcium a day. She doesn’t need any milk at all as it can come from different sources.

I wouldn't think about the amount as such. My ds is 13 months and has milk about 4 times a day my first son had less. I don't measure out how much he has what he needs/ wants abs eats well too. As long as they have other forms of dairy it doesn't all have to come from cows milk.
