Second birthday party ideas

Hi ladies,

I am in the process of organising my little girl's second birthday party. There is about 10 toddlers coming. Possibly a handful of young children (4-9 years). The rest are adults (we actually don't know many families with children).

Is it worth hiring an entertainer? When it's for toddlers? Or, is soft play with indoor lawn games better? Possibly a colourful gymnastics parachute? Or, party games? What do people normally do?

Many thanks in advance.

I have a large family so for dd's birthday until she started school we had family over to our house. Had a buffet and cake. Most of the kids ran around wild and hit each other 🤷‍♀️ Was never a proper birthday party.
I've just had her first proper party for her 6th birthday with 30 kids a magician, party games, cake etc. It cost £300+ and was bloody stressful. 🙈 Next year she inviting one friend to McDonald's 😂😂

I think hire some softplay equiptment. At 2 years old I really wouldnt bother with an entertainer.

Thank you both for your input. I'll hire some softplay equipment. Will leave the entertainer to when she's older.
