DS 15months has woken up very sad today. He has been crying constantly and is not stopping even when breastfed.
He is usually very calm, happy and doesn’t cry much and if he does, breastfeeding is enough to comfort him. Im really worried about him, he has recently had covid (testing negative for 2 days). He was fine when he had it, just a runny nose really and a bit clingy but still up and down, laughing, playing. Im really worried about him and cant work out whats wrong. Any ideas? I have health anxiety and am just in a panic, im still isolating with covid too so its all becoming to much. I dont know what to do. I might just take him to urgent care at the hospital?

Ear infection?

Nottosure22 · 11/01/2022 13:47

@Garman could be, went to the dr they had a look in his ears but said to waxy to tell. He now has a fever so will have to go back if he doesn’t seem better tomorrow.

Crying as in a bit whingy but happy for a bit when distracted or full on tears and wailing non stop?

Does he like a bath? I'd do a bath in case its stomach ache or cramp etc to see if it helps.

If he’s full on crying and can’t be comforted with a fever I would want him seen by a doctor today. Have you tried calpol/nurofen to see if that helps? So sorry you’re having this stress it’s awful when they’re ill

Maybe still just poorly from the virus?
