Hi everyone this is my first time posting. I have a 4 mnth old BB who isn't interested in feeding it's worse during the day and I struggling to get him to drink two Oz every two hrs. His never been a big water and is formula fed. His putting weight on but I feel like I'm constantly force feeding him. Iv tried waiting for him to cry when hungry but he just doesn't and will go for really long time without eating. I have for older son's all teenagers now and they was really good eaters and quite greedy babies. Has anyone else got this problem and how did you resolve it??. I'm concerned he isn't getting enough nutrients his a happy baby and full of energy feeding is the only issue I have with him. Any advice will be greatly appreciated 😊

Is he following his weight centile? Have you tried feeding in a darken quiet room? Different bottles? Different formula?

Have you tried changing the teat size?

Hi fallagain.
His just under the 50th centile but was born small. Iv tried everything I take him out of the room and into the bedroom i haven't switched formula as iv been told this can make him sick??. The hv isn't worried as she says his drinking enough in a 24 hr period. But it's exhausting force feeding him all the time. I'm tempted to start introducing baby rice and rusks just so I know his full. But then think I'm being selfish as this would satisfy me but might not satisfy him. His more interested in everything else but feeding even if it's just the pattern on the wallpaper he would rather stare at that then feed.his been like this from birth. His thriving and putting on weight. I'm just constantly offering bottles and wasting formula. He wakes up every two hour threw the night drinks one or two Oz but during the day is a nightmare.

Yea he just gags like it's to fast for him. Iv just had to put his size one teats back on his bottles. Iv tried the variflow teats aswell he doesn't like them. Iv changed bottles but had to go back to his tommee tippee closer to nature ones as they are the ones he seems to like most. It's driving me mad.
