Baby milk/vol

Hi, my 2 month old son was two weeks overdue. He's been guzzling milk like no tomorrow!
On average he has 6, 8oz bottles a day. Usually around 2.5 hours apart, and sleeps through the night.
He seems to be finishing his bottles now and wanting more.
We spoke to a midwife who advised to stay away from hungry baby milk but to up his oz, however the HV said we shouldn't be giving him over 7oz and to give him hungry baby milk.
We are really conflicted about what to do?
Has anyone used hungry baby milk and how have you got on with it?
Has anyone been in this position before?

How much does he weigh. A baby's feed requirements are 150ml/ kg at that age.

At his 6 week check up he weighed 12lb 5oz! He's 8 weeks today

Increase his milk. The HV is giving crap advice.

They are all different.

My 4month old boy smashes a 9oz bottle in one go every 3-4hrs through the day. He sleeps through so none at night.
