11 week “routine”

Hi all

Just wondering what your “routine” looks like with an 11 week old? I’m not the one to force anything and my little one has settled into a 2 hour cycle. Usually feeds about 25 minutes, awake for an hour after that and then sleeps about 25 minutes. As soon as she wakes she wants to be fed. On a night she seems to now sleep 8-4 🤞🏼🤞🏼 Up once and the day then starts at about 7.

It’s all quite calm and I’m not complaining but I think she should be going longer between feeds? But she wants to eat as soon as she wakes so not sure how to push this? Any thoughts? Or are we all in roughly the same boat?

Thanks 😊

My 11+5 day baby feeds every 1.5-2hrs through the day (1 side at a time)
But has been sleeping 4 hour stretches from 9:30pm.
Tonight’s she’s managed a 6hr stretch and is now having both boobs.

This is very similar to my 12wo. He is generally a totally rubbish napper - I think if he napped properly in the day he would feed less. I don't always feed him after a short nap though, depends - sometimes I feed him to induce a nap (altho often doesn't work properly as he will wake after 10-15 mins!), so if that happens I know he's just crying from still being tired and I have to start over again. It's ok if I'm out and about as he naps decently enough in the pram/car/sling but days at home are hellish. This is my second consecutive.day at home with him and my 3.5 yo as they're both full of cold and the baby is a nightmare to get to nap at home. I can't give my daughter any attention hardly because he doesn't sleep and mostly only sleeps on me (and usually just cries if I try to lay him down awake). Grrr. My DD was feeding every 3ish hrs at this point but she was formula fed by now and she also used to sleep roughly 7-9, have a feed then sleep again 11-6 overnight too without a feed. Whereas DS sleeps roughly 10-8.30 with anywhere from 2 - 4 feeds a night.
