Fussy breakfast times

My 3 year old doesn't like cereal but will happily eat toast all day long. However, she has sandwiches in her packed lunch for preschool so we try to avoid more bread.

My OH is in charge of breakfast times and he will serve her cereal, every day which she quite obviously isn't touching at all. He doesn't try to coax her into eating it, he doesn't offer her fruit, just leaves her to it and allows her to not eat. She then doesn't eat again until lunch time apart from a pear at snack time.

I don't want this to be yet another thing that I need to take over from him but he can't continue sending her to preschool for the day on no breakfast.

Any idea what to do? Or even quick breakfast ideas? I know he will refuse to do eggs, or make breakfast remotely interesting for her. I don't know what to do without taking over?

Maybe toast for breakfast and something different for lunch.

Just give her the toast.

A couple of slices of bread really isn’t worth the worry
