My baby will only nap outdoors

My LG is 7 months and will only nap outdoors. This can either be in her carrier or in her pram. It's slowly killing me. I'm walking around 4 hours a day, I'm absolutely exhausted!
Anyone else have a similar problem or any suggestions how to get her to take naps in her cot. She will happily sleep in there at night time but no way during the day!

Can you put her down and leave her for a while and increase the amount of leave her slowly so a minute first then 1min 30 secs and so on.

My ds is 18 months and was like this from around 4-9 months! Nothing I did made any difference, I just had to be walking outside. Eventually he just grew out of it and now he naps really well in his cot. Hopefully you're dd will just grow out of it too! Good luck, I know how exhausting it is as you never get to sit down but it'll pass 😊

Is it the motion she needs? Have you tried a baby rocker that swings?

You absolutely have my sympathy. My DS1 was exactly the same. He was also a cot refuser at night. Could you try with one nap a day? Possibly the first and keep putting her down in the cot?

If she sleeps in the cot during the night she may be persuadable!

Neither would mine, but he would drop off on top of the washing machine, spin cycle. Which was better than dd, who wouldn't nap anywhere.

Good luck.

Does she have to be in motion? Can you get one of those pram rocket things and stick her out in the garden?

On the plus side, my SIL had a baby like this and it did mean she lost the baby weight fast and listened to an awful lot of podcasts and audiobooks....

Do you have a secure garden? In Sweden apparently they put babies outside even though it's cold

My ds was like this - once he was asleep I would park the pram in the hall (garden in summer) and he would sleep there. Would that work? Assuming you have tried transferring to cot once asleep? Ds2 would only sleep in the car but I was lucku that once asleep I could move him into the cot
