Hi ladies! FTM looking for some advice...
I have just got some Colief drops after trying everything else for my 4 w/o LB who has bad colic and trapped wind, but im really confused!
So they have to be added to the formula 30 min prior to feeding... but my LB will literally not drink cold formula (we use a perfect prep machine so it's made to body temp and will be cold after the 30 min) can i put the cooled bottle into some boiled water to reheat??
My other option is to make formula with the kettle, it says you can't add the drops when formula is too hot so I would have to wait for kettle to cool a bit, make formula, add drops, then wait 30 mins. I dont know what other NB's are like but my boy will defo not be giving me an hours notice when he's hungry 🤣 and I don't fancy getting up at 2 to make a bottle for his maybe 3 am feed, then throw it if he doesn't wake for the feed.
Can I make bottles in advance and store in the fridge, then warm when required? As per colief advice you can but I have always been advised every feed should be made fresh, everything i read has conflicting info.
Also love to hear any positive results from the drops as I'm at a total loss if they dont help 😪
Thank you in advance!! X
