Leaking nappies every night

What am I doing wrong?!

My 6month old sleeps through the nice and has done since the early weeks. But only if I give him a 10pm dreamfeed, else he wakes hungry at 1amish.

I always change his nappy before the dreamfeed but when he wakes in the morning he is soaked! His nappy is full at the front, empty at the back and leaks up his back and side! He has a 6oz bottle for his dreamfeed but this happens every day!

Any advice, tips or ideas where I might be going wrong? Nappies fit him and he's ok the middle of the recommended weight (6.8kg).

This seems to happen wether I do the nappy tighter or looser...Willy is always pointing down. Frills pulled out.

Wish I had found this thread when my DS was diagnosed with T1 diabetes. Moving up nappy size means more room for leakage?

Go up a size, although baby is still in a size that fits it’s a guide and you don’t have to keep him in them. From memory the next size up will also cover his weight range but he’ll be towards the lower end of the bigger size weight range.
