Just being nosey really. DC are 8 and 10. What do your similar aged DC do of an evening following dinner. In normal times (school term) mine will eat, DH and I will tidy up whilst DC watch tv/tablet, then we will set up a board game and play till about 45 mins before DD 8 bedtime. They both have about 45 mins doing what they want before bedtime. Either DH or I will read to them for a while before they sleep.

I'm in the South, I think it's mostly dinner here.

Yeah similar. Sometimes watch tv together or play cards. If it's light we go for a walk or mess around outside doing jobs.

But in the winter they tend to play games online with friends, read, do Lego

Mine are 12 and 10.

School days- eat dinner then I tidy up for half an hour. Then I supervise their homework (one has cognitive issues so needs alot of support) then they get half an hour or so on the tablet, then shower, stories read and bed.
