4 year old- not trying food help

Hi All,

Any advice on how to get a young 4 yr old to try new foods. Currently I eat with them, cook with them and don’t give them snacks outside of the three meals. However, they don’t try any new foods on their plate, meaning that often I am having to give wheatabix just before bed.

They have never been interested in food. Will eat a range of fruit and veg by themselves but if in a sauce then it’s a no go zone.

I’ve been trying to just give three what I eat and leave them to it. But it’s just not working. They just don’t interact with the new food at all.

Any tips would be welcome!

Thanks!
