Hi, I currently breastfeed my lo and supplement with the occasional bottle, she has no problems switching between the two. I'm back at work full time in a month, lo will be 5 months. I don't feel comfortable expressing at work and don't like to do it much anyway as I always get blocked ducts. I have a bit of EBM stored but partner/grandparents will mostly be using formula. I'm starting to slowly replace the feeds with a bottle so my supply can adjust; my question is will the feed have to be replaced at the same time every day or is my body smart enough to produce milk on certain days and not others? For example I work 10-3pm + 5-12am Mondays, 10-5 Tuesdays and have Wednesday's off. If she's bottle fed between my working hours on a Monday will she also need to be bottle fed for those same hours on my day off on Wednesday? I'd really like to carry on breastfeeding as much as possible. Ta.
