What do I do with my toddler's hair now she has some?

Ridiculous question I know. Her hair has suddenly grown and it looks quite messy, I don't know what to do with it.

She has a double crown and I've always just brushed it forward, then swept it to the side as she got a bit bigger and the hair longer, but now it's just a messy mop. At what point do you put a parting in, and how do I 'train' her hair to accept one? Even after a wash it seems to revert back to the swept to the side mop look...

Photo attached in case it helps!

Gorgeous. My one year old is like this and I'm trying to get by so she doesn't need a fringe coming from the back of her head. She is rocking wide fabric headbands at moment but Dh calls her boris because she does have such crazy hair!

Following for tips for my two-year-old, who has the wildest hair. Her twin brother's grew uniformly to a point where we had to get it cut. But hers is all long at the back and short and fine at the front and she has at least two crowns (like her daddy!), and I have no idea what to do with it and I'm not sure a hairdresser could make much sense of it either.

Start getting it cut by a hairdresser. They will remove any wisps and you can just keep brushing it into shape.
