Should I try “to fix” the feeding routine or let it be?

Hi,
I need some bit of a advice. My LO is 10.5 months and started solids around 6 months mark. He’s always been curious about food and ate most things what we give him but he still doesn’t have a full meal. He eats a lot of things just not enough to replace the bottle. Like he’s having a few bites of whatever we give him, sometimes he’s refusing at all. Like this morning he didn’t want breakfast at all, yesterday he had one small spoon of dinner and that’s it. I try different foods, different textures, fruits, meats, pasta, veggies etc. and he’s trying all of them but just not eating enough for a full meal.
I tried to offer before the milk but then he’s just too hungry and wants milk, I try to offer 1-2h after milk, then maybe he can manage a few bits of banana or some sweet potato.
Currently he’s having 5 bottles, each bottle 4oz on average, sometimes 5oz, so around 20oz in 24h, which I read in various places is quite normal for baby still this age.
I’m trying to have this “ he’s still a baby , don’t worry” mindset and going easy and just with the flow but I have a deadline in my head that soon he will be 1 and theoretically he should be off the milk but at the moment doesn’t look like he’s even close. And I’m pretty sure ( I think ) at this age he should be having a bit more food.
Anyone has a similar experience or just some advice?

My little girl was exactly the same and didn't pick up with the food till closer to 1, honestly really don't worry about it. They shouldn't be 'off the milk' at one anyway, they still need to be drinking whole cows nk or formula. My 18mo still has 3 bottles/cups of milk a day in addition to meals which she now usually eats. Don't worry about it Smile

My boys the exact same age but we’re lucky that he eating well at the moment, but we’ve had bad phases trust me!
My LO is on 3 big bottles of 7-8oz instead though, maybe that could be worth a try instead of 5 smaller ones? Just a thought but like the poster above says I wouldn’t worry, he trying stuff so that’s good 😊
