I had a similar problem,I guess you kind of have to start again and hopefully he will get back into quickly because he has been so successful on the potty in the past.

Just make regular trips to the potty especially after drinks and meals..this is probably what you have already done.Make it fun,a game, get some fun wipes or novelty soap to make things a bit less mundane.

He will get the hang of it again and if he is a bit unsettled with the change it will soon become the norm and he will get used to things. He may just be wanting to get your attention at the mo :-)

Good luck with it x

My son did this after his brother was born, he would lie on the floor and pee into the carpet as he didn't like to pee down his leg. He usually did this when I fed his brother.

I tried every approach and the one that worked for me was to give him no reaction whatsoever. My son was just 3 and as he could pull his own pants down, I asked him to undress himself as Mummy was busy and he hated being wiped down with cold wet wipes. Then if needed I would dress him with no comments or anything. Just maybe a "next time can you please go to the toilet".

It is soul destroying and he did do this up to 6 times a day so I was looking after a newborn and scrubbing wee out of my carpet and washing clothes like I ran a laundrette.

One day I did run out of trousers and left him bare legged and he seemed more upset about that than anything else.
