Next to me to cot bed

Hi! My nearly 5 month old has always slept in her next to me crib, and 3 weeks ago transitioned to her own room after I got a cough and was keeping her awake, she then stayed as she settled fine. However, I recently moved her from her Chico next to me to her large cot bed and the 1st night was absolutely no issues but the 2nd night was hell. Waking every 20/30 mins needing cuddling / dummy when previously went 6-7 with two feeds. Its only night 3 and the wakings have already begun!!! She's never ever been so unsettled. No illness. Teeth? Maybe but no changes. She went through the 4 month regression with a breeze!

Any other experiences of this? Any tips? Does it get better or invest in a smaller cot? She does try and roll over and the next to me used to stop her and she would ping back. ( Please no tips to add anything to the cot eg bumpers/rolled towels as I don't want to risk anything her cot is totally free from anything but her and a sleeping bag!) Thank you!!

It's a baby thing especially a four month old baby thing, they sleep good, you relax then they kill you with sleep dep - in my experience it lasts between a year and two years.

can you put her back in the next to me cot? see if that settles her, or is that not possible?

Put the next to me in the cot. She can sleep in that for a while until she's a bit bigger.
