We have had the most wonderful day. We were out before 9 to do the shoe check and then had shopping to do. The kids were involved and I said yes when DS1 asked to go to the top in the lift just to see the view.

They were hungry so chose some fruit from the stall and later DS1 asked no nicely and gave such a good reason why I should say yes, that I bought them all an ice cream at 11am. I got such pleasure from buying them and DS1 thanked me so nicely. They all said thank you.

They are on a promise for a large marble (their first one) in their jars if they continue like this all day. We have had a couple of blips but I am not letting it worry me and will not allow it to wipe out all the lovely day we have had.

That sounds very peaceful and pleasing.

TBH what ever they do between now and Daddy getting home they are getting the big marble. I just wanted to wait until he was home to make an occasion of it.

DS1 has been so lovely to, and about his sister to day too.
