Just that - she likes a bra with coverage - ideally the crop top type that is fairly high up (no cleavage or mounded cups) Any suggestions of where (ideally online)?

I got DD some from Victoria Secrets a few years ago in their sale

I get my Dd's bras from Asda and Matalan. She likes a padded bra as her nipples can be prominent if not and don't show through if padded. She's never had one which created a cleavage. If your Dd's breasts are larger enough for cleavage, I would suggest she needs more than a cropped top. However, if that's what she really wants then I've seen lots in Primark and I think Tkmaxx had a few but not as many. Since it's under clothing, I wouldn't have thought it mattered if it was skimpy!

The pink range is the younger teen type of range

Marks and Spencer have a great range - very non-fancy worked well for my dd.

Dd found the moulded bras from John Lewis were the most comfortable. Either those or Nike sports bras. Any other kind chafed her.

Another vote for M&S, or Peacocks used to have quite a wide range of crop top type bras.

I get the Danish Endurance 100% cotton crop top/sports bra style bras. Very comfortable. Not a proper sports bra for sports, just for daily wear.

My dd likes the bralet’s from odd balls, I thing they do some that are higher up too. Sadly DD’s boobs are now too big for them, she now wears some from M&S.

these

Matalan ones for my dd's. Come in sizing of sorts... 28 A. 30 Aa. For example.. White plain. Triangle shaped 'cups' without wire or padding. Proper bra fastening. 4.99 for 2.

It depends on your DD's back size and how big her breasts are (sorry, I'm honestly not a boob troll!)
One of my DCs had a very small back size and we first went to M&S. I helped her to find a bra that fitted well, independently of someone coming in and sizing her (she would have been too embarrassed at that stage to have someone come in to look).
More recently, we ended up going to Bravissimo, because her back size is still tiny (28), and they were able to find her a choice of bras that fitted well and made her feel 'secure' in her words.
This choice you are able to find will depend on how 'big' your daughter is in relation to her back size, and how comfortable she is in getting someone to check the fit.

New look, teen section

CovoidOfAllHumanity · 22/12/2021 21:33

We got some just like you describe from M&S. bought 6 all the same 2 black, 2 white, 2 nude and DD finds them very comfy and wears them all the time

Greensmoothie1 · 22/12/2021 22:02

Just search for non-wired full cup bras or bralettes. I think that’s what you’re describing. Specific shops will depend on what her bra size is (cup and back).

These are good - I think they come in plain white too: www.johnlewis.com/anyday-john-lewis-partners-kids-sports-crop-tops-pack-of-3-multi/p3653048
