Anyone with experience with protopic

My 11 month old has been prescribed protopic today for his eczema.

Has anyone used protopic before?

We have been told to use it everyday for 6 weeks and then reduce to twice a week. I forgot to ask the dermatologist if I am to wait some time before moisturising with hydromol, after using protopic.

We’ve also been told to use steroids when he has a flare and then use the protopic in that area to maintain.

Yes we were prescribed it for my son's eczema and it was amazing! Prior to that we used hydrocortisone creams, but as soon as we stopped using them the eczema would immediately come back just as bad. In contrast the Protopic got rid of it properly.

It’s brilliant stuff , my adult daughter was prescribed it for a very severe dermatitis around her eyes and it clears it really quickly , prior to using protopic the only thing that helped was 20 mg of oral prednisilone daily .
