Baby face rash - advice? with photo.

My DD (nearly 4 weeks old), has developed a kind of rash on her face. It isn't very big. It's a bit on her forehead, a tiny splog on each cheek and a strip above her eye. The GP doesn't have any appointments left today and I'm currently waiting on a call back from a clinician from NHS 111. I'm just wondering if it looks like anything you recognise? Any suggestions what it might be?

She doesn't have a temperature (taken and it was 36.8), she's taking all her milk, has wet nappies, has dirty nappies, is alert and awake. Doesn't seem to be in any pain and doesn't seem to be trying to itch it.

FTM with anxiety so of course everything is worrying me. I don't think it's anything serious but I'm not medically trained, so I have no idea. It's quite red and looks like little, tiny spots. They disappear when put under a glass too.

Baby acne?

It looks like baby eczema. It's quite common. Aveeno baby or other unscented mild moisturiser will help soothe it.

Babies get little rashes when they're new, can be from hormones, just general getting used to life phases! It doesn't look too serious to me, my dc all had a crusty red and yellow rash across their eyebrows for a few days around that age.

@Pigletting I did think that, or eczema because I used to get that terrible when I was a toddler.

Eczema and perhaps a few hives. Has she got any other cmpa symptoms?

No harm in having it checked out, but it looks like baby acne. Totally normal and will clear up on its own.

Probably just baby acne, they get quite spotty faces around that age.
