Eating body wash

Hi all, when changing my 10 month old she got hold of her body wash and got some in her mouth. I wiped her mouth out with a cloth, brushed with her tooth brush and water and got her to have a few sips of water. I'm not sure if she's swallowed any. Shes since eaten lunch and seems happy. I'm just fretting about it, any advice? Should I call GP? I did taste a bit myself and it made me gip a lot, she didn't have any reaction like that.

She sounds fine, I am sure it's not poisonous.

What does it say on the container?

Anything that is poisonous/toxic will tell you what to do and also to seek medical attention.

I'm sure if it's baby body wash it'll be very mild soap which isn't toxic in anyway. The worst it'll do is make her tummy upset.

On the container it just says for external use only it doesn't say anything about seeking medical attention if ingested or it being poisonous or toxic.

As PPs have said it will be fine.

I've eaten soap and cream before. (Don't ask.) They just taste nasty even though they smell nice.
