Floor bed (single)

Does anyone know where I can get a single Montessori floor bed please?

Anyone using a floor bed? My toddlers currently between beds (the single he was having broke and I'd already sold his toddler bed whoops) he's on a single mattress on the floor and loves it - I've since been reading about the benefits of a floor bed so considering this as a way forward?

Not sure if it's what you're looking for exactly but I bought my 23-month old one of those Scandinavian type floor beds that has a frame shaped like a house from Amazon. Have had no issues with it - I co-sleep with him on a foldout mattress thing next to the bed.

Why not just keep the mattress on the floor? There's no reason to get a bed to put it in. It means it's a lot more flexible and you can move him to a regular bed if he wants to.

I've heard it's not good for their backs to be on the floor? This was (also) my first thought

I found an IKEA hack where we chopped the legs off the basic toddler bed. My son liked the bed but it was a bit of a pain that I couldn’t co-sleep so easily with him. This time with my second child I will probably use a mattress on the floor.

I believe you could also have issues with mould forming due to lack of air flow if the mattress is placed straight onto the floor.

You possibly don't need an actual bed frame as such though, even just slats to let some airflow underneath.

I think you can buy slats separately at IKEA? Something like that might work.

We just did mattress on the floor to avoid bending into a cot and haven't had any issues, when he falls off he just climbs back on.
The mould might happen on a ground floor though, this is upstairs. And not an outside wall
Good luck!
