6m old with stinky farts

DD is nearly 7m, was EBF till 5 months, and is now on about 200ml of formula a day while I'm at work, otherwise still on breast milk. We haven't started weaning really apart from the odd taste of potato, yoghurt etc. Recently her farts have been awful. I mean really repugnant, like a bloke with a hangover. She doesn't seem uncomfortable at all, and her poos seem normal, ever couple of days. I can't see any connection with what I'm eating, or with the tiny bits of food she's been eating.

She was tested for allergies at about a month old after a bout of diarrhoea, but all negative, and neither I nor her DD have any intolerances.

Worth bothering a doctor about? Or is this just what babies do?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My 4.5m old has disgusting farts, we have to ask who has farted as could easily be an adult.

His poos smell sweet.

No concerns here.

He is EBF too.

What are you eating? Broccoli, cauliflower and brie seemed to cause this in my daughter via breastmilk.

Doh I missed where you said you couldn’t see a connection.

Maybe it's just normal then! We'll see how she goes as we introduce more foods over the next few weeks.
