dd1 is nearly 3, and she can use the potty and toilet fine for wees and poos. The problem is she just pees in her knickers and tights etc anyway. I had to buy 3 pairs of emergency trousers yesterday when we went out yesterday, despite aking her several times if she needed to go and actually taking her once anyway. She doesn't mind being in soggy wet pants and tights, sometimes she'll take them off, and sometimes she'll just carry on as normal until I notice - she refuses to tell me. I don't understan her at all. I wonder if she's got a problem, because she doesn't seem to recognise that she needs to go until it's too late.

If you were out and she had accidents, is it because she does not want to break off and use the loo/potty. My ds1 does this sometimes. I just take him at times, he does have a wee, even if it is under protest.

I also set myself a maximum time he goes without sitting on the po' and sometimes if he objects I ask him to have a try to just see if he can, then we play a game where I close my eyes and he jumps up shouting 'surprise!'if he manages one, of course then MAJOR APPLAUSE!

With DS1 it seems that he is prone to accidents whilst very tired also.

It's not just out and about, I wish lol! She wees on the floor at home too. She's better at home because she can just use the loo whenever she wants to, she needs to warn us if we're out.
