Any words of advice or wisdom apart from relax and let her get on with it and give sweets for success on potty??

Accident 1 already no fuss just cleaned it all up (she happened to get it in the lid of one of my leather boxes so not too much on the carpet and i sat her straight on the potty and said next time wee on the potty. Is that right?

2.3 yrs seems quite ready just need the time to have one to one with her so while i'm off over christmas I hope we can get her dry was goingt o start on saturday but thought if she wants to and is asking then I should let her try.

Yay she just did a wee on the potty!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so ive given sweets and loads and loads of praise jumping up and down clapping!

Sounds like it is going well. Both my children were dry by that age so it is possible. But I think it is quite a difficult time of year - with all the out of routine excitement etc that is going on.

I'm hoping if she is ready most accidents will be out the way by xmas day, plus i'd going to be staying in chilling so will be trying to stick to same routine as normal while theres no toddler groups etc on that we'll be missing.
